Night trains for the winter released April 2

We're releasing night train trips for the period from 14 Dec to 28 March 2026 on Wed 2 April. The season includes Christmas, New Year as well as the winter holiday weeks.

Now is the perfect time to get in the mood for next winter's adventures. The night train season, now being released, includes both the Christmas holidays and the winter holiday season. The night trains will run more frequently during the Christmas and skiing holiday season, so there's plenty to choose from.

The night train is a comfortable, fast and environmentally friendly way to travel to destinations in the north and from north to south. You can get into the holiday spirit during the journey in your own cabin or in the restaurant car, for example, and most importantly - you arrive well rested and ready for new adventures!

You can buy night train tickets wth sleeper cabins in vr.fi and the VR Matkalla app. Car spaces are only sold in vr.fi.
